You're A Mess

You're A Mess (Paul Black, 2020) is a tall bearded iris reaching 31" (79 cm) and blooming early to midseason. This variety features mid mulberry standards with delicate palest violet splashes and mid lavender style arms edged in light tan. The falls are a soft violet-white, accented by random mid mulberry streaks and splashes, with hafts streaked in mid plum and light tan. Beards are white in the throat, transitioning to light yellow and ending in light marigold. Notable for its pronounced sweet fragrance, You're A Mess is a sibling to I’m Not Stable and was awarded an Honorable Mention in 2023. Available at Amethyst Creek Farm.
