Wild Streak

Wild Streak (Paul Black, 2020) is a tall bearded iris reaching 30" (76 cm), blooming early to midseason. This award-winning variety features buff-peach standards with unique, random streaks and splashes of mid lilac, complemented by mid peach style arms and crests streaked in lilac. The falls display a dynamic pattern of buff-peach, boldly streaked, splashed, mottled, and dotted with mid to dark purple, set off by vivid orange beards. Wild Streak is noted for its pronounced sweet fragrance and is a sibling to 'I’m Not Stable.' Recognized with an Honorable Mention in 2022 and an Award of Merit in 2024, this iris was introduced by Mid-America in 2020. Available at Amethyst Creek Farm.
