Whispering Spirits

Whispering Spirits (Richard Ernst, 2001) is a tall bearded iris reaching 35" (89 cm) and blooming from midseason to late. This award-winning variety features elegant white standards edged in gold, white style arms with yellow crests, and falls with a white ground beautifully sanded and marked in violet and magenta, finished with a distinct 1/4" yellow marginal band. The yellow beards and ruffled form add to its refined appearance. Sibling to Ring Around Rosie, Whispering Spirits has received multiple accolades, including an Honorable Mention (2003), Award of Merit (2005), and third place at the Moscow International TB Iris Competition (2005).
