Wee Dragons

Wee Dragons (Lynda Miller, 2016) is a miniature dwarf bearded iris (MDB) introduced by Mid-America in 2017. This early midseason bloomer features 4.5"-5" (11-13 cm) blooms with deep red-purple standards and velvety dark burgundy falls. The butter yellow style arms are accented by a red-violet rib, while the beards display a vibrant yellow-orange in the throat, transitioning to light blue at the middle and end. Bred from 'Mosaic' X 'Snips', Wee Dragons has received multiple accolades, including the Honorable Mention (2019), Award of Merit (2021), and the Caparne-Welch Medal (2024).
