Violet Turner

Violet Turner (Larry Lauer, 1999) is a reblooming tall bearded iris reaching 30" (76 cm), introduced by Lauers Flowers. This early to midseason bloomer features ruffled standards and style arms in rich violet, complemented by velvety dark violet falls edged with a light violet rim. Mustard-colored beards and a pronounced sweet fragrance add to its appeal. Bred from Sweet Reflection x Sweeter Than Wine, Violet Turner received an Honorable Mention from the American Iris Society in 2002. Available at Amethyst Creek Farm.
