Venetian Glass

Venetian Glass (Keith Keppel, 2003) is a tall bearded iris reaching 33" (84 cm) and blooming in midseason. This elegant variety features pinkish white standards with a faint blue cast on the outer edges, complemented by palest pink style arms. The falls mirror the standards with a slightly creamier center, while the beards transition from blue white to cream white, with mandarin red-tipped hairs deep in the throat. The blooms are ruffled and lightly laced, adding refined texture. Bred from Lotus Land x Fogbound, Venetian Glass has received both the Honorable Mention (2005) and Award of Merit (2007) from the American Iris Society. Available at Amethyst Creek Farm.
