Valentino

Valentino (John Painter, 2007) is a tall bearded iris reaching 36" (91 cm), blooming from early to late season. This variety features cardinal red standards with a bronze red base and central area, blending to cardinal edges. The style arms are bronze red, while the falls display a deep cardinal red with a darker lower edge and slightly lighter side edges, accented by a variable gold center stripe. Bright gold beards and lightly ruffled petals add to its visual appeal. Bred from Crimson Twist x Golden Panther, Valentino was introduced by Napa Country in 2008 and received an Honorable Mention in 2010. Available at Amethyst Creek Farm.
