UFO

UFO (Donald Spoon, 2007) is a truly singular Tall Bearded Iris, renowned for its gallery-worthy, painterly presence and dynamic reblooming performance. Standing at 33" (84 cm), this novelty iris dazzles with early to midseason blooms and a rare, broken color pattern: luminous lavender blue standards and falls (RHS 87C) are boldly splashed with vivid violet (87A) and punctuated by a radiant white sunburst at the base. The ruffled, flat form and nearly absent beards create a sleek, modern silhouette, while the lavender blue style arms fade to a lighter hue for added visual intrigue. With a slight sweet fragrance and a pedigree from 'Little John' x 'Brindled Beauty', UFO is a conversation-starting, exhibition-grade centerpiece. Rebloom has been reported in MT, TX, VA, and England, making it a resilient choice for USDA Zones 4 and 6. A field-stopping, unforgettable addition for collectors and enthusiasts, available at Amethyst Creek Farm. Attributes: Rebloomer Rebloomer This cultivar is a known rebloomer.
