Tuscan Summer

Tuscan Summer (Keith Keppel, 2010) is an award-winning tall bearded iris reaching 38" (97 cm) and blooming in midseason. This distinguished variety features standards of deep blackish port wine, subtly shaded with red brown and accented by a touch of light yellow at the lower center. The style arms are java brown with delicate yellow lace points. Falls display a dramatic blackish port wine edge and striations over an intense dandelion gold ground, complemented by mustard yellow beards. A sibling to Sorbonne, Tuscan Summer has earned multiple accolades, including the Honorable Mention (2012), Award of Merit (2014), and the prestigious Wister Medal (2016).
