Turkish Tapestry (Keith Keppel, 2019) is a remarkable tall bearded iris that commands attention with its painterly blend of color and intricate patterning. Reaching 38" (97 cm) and blooming in the late midseason, this cultivar features light lobelia violet standards washed over pale marguerite yellow, creating a smoky, opalescent effect. The falls display a straw yellow ground with a wide, velvety port margin and a central stripe, accented by a lighter wash of fine dots and striations. Chamois style arms and marigold orange beards, tipped in mustard tan, add further depth and dimension.
