Triple Dip

Triple Dip (Paul Black, 2013) is a tall bearded iris introduced in 2014 and recognized with an Honorable Mention in 2016. This reblooming variety reaches 34" (86 cm) and offers early to midseason blooms with a pronounced sweet fragrance. The standards are white with a mid butter-yellow center and fine butter-yellow veining on the outer third, complemented by narrow outer bands and white style arms edged in butter. The falls are a deep, dark purple with plum-purple hafts, highlighted by a light violet rim and white mottling. Beards transition from mid marigold in the throat to lighter marigold at the tips. Triple Dip is a sibling to Advantage and is available from Amethyst Creek Farm.
