Total Darkness

Total Darkness (Leonard & Kathie Jedlicka, 2011) is a tall bearded iris reaching 36" (91 cm) and blooming late in the season. This variety features deeply ruffled, velvety standards in a rich purple-black with slightly serrated edges, complemented by semi-flaring, pure black falls that display exceptional depth of color and plush texture. Both the beards and style arms are a matching deep purple-black, and the blooms are enhanced by a sweet grape fragrance.
