Toronto (Thomas Johnson, 2011) is a tall bearded iris reaching 36" (91 cm), introduced by Mid-America Garden. This early midseason bloomer features peach buff standards infused with maroon along the midribs, peach buff style arms, and velvety dark maroon falls edged in light rose-maroon. The beards are a rich dark burnt-orange, and the blooms are heavily ruffled with a sweet fragrance. Bred from Saturn X Decadence, Toronto has received both the Honorable Mention (2013) and Award of Merit (2016) from the American Iris Society. Available at Amethyst Creek Farm.
