Tohu Bohu

Tohu Bohu (Loïc Tasquier, 2017) is a remarkable Intermediate Bearded iris that commands attention with its painterly color play and dynamic presence. Reaching 18" (46 cm) and blooming midseason, this cultivar features pale violet-blue standards flushed with light red-pink, accented by violet veining along the midrib and a delicate edge. The style arms echo this luminous blend, while the falls are a dramatic, solid dark brown-violet, transitioning into intricate veining and a vivid violet rim. The beards are a spectacle in themselves—violet tipped orange in the throat, shifting to light mauve tipped gold-yellow, and ending in bushy, light mauve with faint yellow highlights. With its gallery-worthy coloration and bold, sculptural form, Tohu Bohu is a true garden showpiece and a collector-grade addition for any iris enthusiast.
