Thunderdrums (LeRoy Meininger, 2007) is a tall bearded iris that commands attention with its extraordinary color play and dynamic presence. Reaching 38" (97 cm) and blooming in the late midseason, this cultivar features apricot standards flushed with grape, apricot style arms, and falls with a rich apricot ground heavily sanded in grape, finished by a narrow apricot border. Vivid tangerine beards add a bold accent.
