The Majestic

The Majestic (Anton Mego, 2016) is a tall bearded iris reaching 38" (97 cm), introduced by Sutton in 2017. This midseason bloomer features wisteria blue standards with subtle greyed yellow veining and a gentle flush at the midribs. The style arms echo the wisteria blue, accented by greyed yellow crests. Falls are a rich red-violet with purple highlights, edged on the upper half with a ½" band of wisteria blue and on the lower half with a ½" band of greyed yellow. Bright yellow beards and heavily ruffled petals add to its refined appearance. The Majestic offers a slight sweet fragrance and is a result of the cross 'Zlatovláska' X 'Perfect Lady'.
