Temporal Anomaly

Temporal Anomaly (Richard Tasco, 2007) is a tall bearded iris reaching 38" (97 cm), blooming in midseason. This award-winning variety features honey butterscotch standards with darker veining and slightly deeper edges, complemented by golden yellow style arms. The falls are a crisp, cold white, densely dotted and stippled with rich burgundy grape, finished with a very thin, pale yellow edge. White beards tipped with burnt gold add further distinction, while the lightly ruffled blooms are enhanced by a slight sweet fragrance. Foliage is notably tinged with purple. Temporal Anomaly is a sibling to Celestial Explosion and the result of a cross between Tennessee Woman and seedling 96-TB-08-53.
