Taranis

Taranis (Lynda Miller, 2021) is a commanding tall bearded iris that delivers a dramatic, high-contrast display in the garden. Reaching 33" (84 cm) and blooming midseason, Taranis features dusky apricot standards with a dark purple center shading, complemented by apricot style arms and a bold dark purple midrib. The falls are a saturated, near-black, accented by a beard with dark purple bases and old gold tips, creating a painterly, gallery-worthy effect. With its pedigree from Ninja Warrior X Main Street and introduced by Mid-America in 2022, Taranis is a memorable, field-stopping showpiece for collectors and garden enthusiasts alike. No noted rebloom or fragrance. Available at Amethyst Creek Farm.
