Suspicious Minds

Suspicious Minds (Thomas Johnson, 2024) is a remarkable tall bearded iris that commands attention with its bold, color-forward presence. Reaching 38" (97 cm) and blooming in the early midseason, this hybrid dazzles with cream standards washed in violet and lemon veining, set off by a narrow light yellow band. The style arms glow in deep yellow, while the falls are saturated in plush mahogany red-violet, edged with a wide lavender band and a fine buff rim. Burgundy-based, tangerine-tipped beards add a vivid accent, and a slight sweet fragrance completes the sensory experience. With its painterly patterning and dynamic contrast, Suspicious Minds is a true garden showpiece and a collector-grade addition for any iris enthusiast.
