Susan Hamburger

Susan Hamburger (Mitch Jameson, R. 2024) is a remarkable tall bearded iris that commands attention in the midseason garden with its radiant, golden standards infused with a subtle cream midrib. The golden style arms and matching falls are occasionally adorned with subdued brown-bronze flecking, adding a painterly, one-of-a-kind touch to each bloom. Burnt orange beards provide a vivid, color-forward accent. Standing at 36" (91.5 cm), this field-grown, pedigree-worthy introduction from The Plant Shack 2024 is a memorable addition for collectors and garden enthusiasts seeking a bold, gallery-worthy centerpiece. Seedling 2-10. Parentage: Seedling 1-05:('Will' x 'Bronzette Star') X 'Golden Panther'. No rebloom or fragrance noted. Available at Amethyst Creek Farm.
