Summer Magic

Summer Magic (James McWhirter, 1988) is a tall bearded iris reaching 38" (97 cm), blooming early to midseason. Its standards are a delicate light wisteria blue, while the falls display a rich magenta purple, both elegantly laced. The gold beard is tipped with lavender, adding a unique accent, and the blooms offer a slight fragrance. Bred from 'Tequila Sunrise' and a sibling, Summer Magic is noted for its reblooming performance in Massachusetts. Available at Amethyst Creek Farm.
