Sugarbaby

Sugarbaby (Thomas Johnson, 2022) is a remarkable tall bearded iris that commands attention with its singular, steely orchid lavender standards and slightly lighter falls, accented by a luminous area below the beard. The lavender beards tipped in white add a refined touch, while the sweet fragrance elevates its garden appeal. Standing at an impressive 38" (97 cm) and blooming late in the season, Sugarbaby is a sibling to One Step Closer and a testament to Johnson’s hybridizing mastery. This cultivar is a garden-showpiece, perfect for those seeking a memorable, color-forward addition with both visual and aromatic allure. Available at Amethyst Creek Farm.
