Strike A Chord

Strike A Chord (Thomas Johnson, 2021) is a tall bearded iris reaching 34" (86 cm) and blooming from midseason to late. This variety features medium lavender standards with slightly deeper edges and matching style arms. The falls are a rich, deep lavender-purple, accented by an exceptionally wide, ruffled lavender band. Vibrant orange beards transition to white at the tips, and the blooms are enhanced by a sweet fragrance. A sibling to Read My Mind, Strike A Chord received an Honorable Mention from the American Iris Society in 2023. Available at Amethyst Creek Farm.
