Strawberry Smoothie

Strawberry Smoothie (Robert Skaggs, 2020) is a gallery-worthy Tall Bearded iris that radiates refined elegance and premium breeding. Reaching 38" (97 cm) and blooming midseason, this cultivar features softly luminous pink standards with a deeper midrib, complemented by style arms touched with a gentle lavender edge. The falls are a creamy pink canvas, enriched by darker pink veining, a dramatic blush on the hafts, and a polished ½" pink rim for a couture-inspired finish. The beards transition from pink in the throat and middle to white at the tips, while a delicate, sweet fragrance adds sensory appeal. Extreme bubble ruffling gives each bloom a sculptural, showpiece quality. Honored with an AIS Honorable Mention in 2023, Strawberry Smoothie is a conversation-starting, edge-trimmed centerpiece—perfect for collectors and those seeking a vibrant, fragrance-rich highlight for their garden. Available at Amethyst Creek Farm. Attributes: Edge Trim, Fragrant, Smooth Awards: Award of Merit, Honorable Mention
