Stilettos

Stilettos (Thomas Johnson, 2009) is a memorable Tall Bearded iris that stands tall at 39" (99 cm) and blooms in the late midseason. This cultivar features laced blue-pink standards and buff pink style arms, with falls in refined buff pink, subtly deepening at the hafts and edges for a painterly effect. Vivid orange beards are accented by slender violet horns, adding a unique flourish to each bloom. A slight fragrance enhances its garden appeal. Bred from 'Ballet Royale' x 'Corps de Ballet', Stilettos was introduced by Mid-America in 2009 and earned an Honorable Mention in 2012. Its sculptural form and harmonious color palette make it a captivating addition to any garden. Available at Amethyst Creek Farm.
