Squid Squirt

Squid Squirt (Brad Kasperek, 2001) is a remarkable tall bearded iris that commands attention with its bold, painterly splashes of phlox purple, violet purple, and beetroot purple, accented by vivid red-orange beards. Standing at 34" (86 cm) and blooming midseason, this cultivar features lightly ruffled, laced petals and a slight fragrance, making it a memorable addition to any garden. With its graphic, color-forward pattern and dynamic presence, Squid Squirt is a true conversation-starter and a field-stopping novelty. Honored with an AIS Honorable Mention in 2005, this hybrid (Nigerian Raspberry X Isnt This Something) is a standout choice for collectors and garden enthusiasts seeking a showpiece bloom.
