Splatter Matters

‘Splatter Matters’ (John Painter, 2009) is a tall bearded iris reaching 35" (89 cm), introduced in 2010. This midseason bloomer features dramatic dark pansy violet standards, streaked and mottled with white and aster violet, complemented by matching style arms. The falls are even more boldly marked, creating a vivid, artistic effect. Beards are a unique blend of violet and white, with a touch of yellow in the throat, and the blooms offer a subtle spicy fragrance.
