Spilt Milk

Spilt Milk (Paul Black, 2023) is a gallery-worthy arilbred iris that brings a painterly fusion of color and form to the garden. Standing at 28" (71 cm), this midseason to late bloomer features standards awash in light old gold and pale tan, delicately banded and flecked with mid-rose. The dark gold style arms, boldly striped in red-brown, crown falls of deep maroon, dramatically mottled and shifting to a velvety red-black with random white flecks and a commanding black signal. Light yellow hafts veined in dark brown and beards tipped in dark old gold add further refinement. With a slight sweet fragrance and a pedigree from 'Smokin' Hot' x 'Let's Play Dress Up', Spilt Milk is a collector-grade, conversation-starting centerpiece for any iris enthusiast. Available at Amethyst Creek Farm.
