Reaching 32" (81 cm) and blooming midseason to late, this cultivar features luminous standards in a cream and yellow fusion, with yellow radiating most vividly along the veins. The falls are saturated in a rich burnt orange and cinnamon brown blend, dramatically accented by a maraschino red beard. With its pedigree from Misty Moonscape, Miss Goldilocks, Trudy, and a greenish amoena seedling, Spiced Custard is a medal-worthy, exhibition-grade iris that earned an Honorable Mention from the American Iris Society in 1989.
