Spectral Challenge

Spectral Challenge (Richard Ernst, 1996). Tall Bearded Iris, 37" (94 cm), late bloom season. This ruffled iris features vibrant yellow standards (RHS 7B) with falls that are lighter near the beard and display a deeper yellow blend at the edges. The beards are a rich yellow (near 14A). Bred from Princess Kiss sibling crossed with a seedling from Edna’s Wish x Wild Jasmine. Introduced by Cooley in 1997. No noted rebloom or fragrance. Available at Amethyst Creek Farm.
