Spare Change

Spare Change (Hugh Stout, 2018) is a memorable miniature dwarf bearded iris, celebrated for its bold color contrast and refined form. This early midseason bloomer features luminous aureolin yellow standards and style arms, dramatically set against rich auburn red-brown falls edged with a precise ¹⁄₈˝ yellow band. Vivid yellow rays radiate from the hafts, extending beyond golden orange-tipped beards, creating a painterly, graphic effect. With a slight sweet fragrance and compact 5"-6" stature, Spare Change is a collector-grade addition to any garden, offering both pedigree and visual impact. Parentage: Pooh Bear X Troublemaker.
