Space Signal

Space Signal (Keith Keppel, 2017) is a commanding tall bearded iris that brings a gallery-worthy presence to any garden. Reaching 38" (97 cm) and blooming in the late midseason, this cultivar features luminous amber white standards and style arms, with falls in a slightly deeper amber white edged by a dramatic ¾" purple heather patch at the end of the beard. The beards are subtle, yellow in the throat and fading to lavender white at the tips, adding a refined touch to its painterly color palette. With its pedigree from 'Destined to Dance' and a Blyth seedling, Space Signal is a noteworthy, exhibition-grade iris that earned an Honorable Mention in 2021.
