South Point

South Point (Michael Sutton, 2014) is a truly extraordinary Tall Bearded iris, reaching 35" (89 cm) and blooming from midseason to very late. Its butter yellow standards and style arms radiate above falls that transition from white to rich purple and purple-violet, all edged in a soft grey-purple. Accented by dresden yellow beards and short, bald white horns, this iris is further distinguished by its pronounced spicy fragrance and elegantly ruffled petals. With its painterly color blend and dynamic presence, South Point is a memorable, collector-grade addition to any garden. Parentage: Mountain Sunrise X Spot On. Available at Amethyst Creek Farm. Attributes: Edge Trim, Fragrant, Novelty, Ruffled, Space Age
