Sonic Blast

Sonic Blast (Anton Mego, 2022) is a tall bearded iris reaching 36" (91 cm) and blooming late in the season. This variety features pale cream standards, heavily flushed and veined with yellow, and matching pale cream style arms. The falls are a crisp white, blending outward to violet and then to a rich beetroot purple, accented by yellow highlights beside the beard and in the throat. The beards themselves are a vivid yellow-orange, and the blooms are enhanced by a spicy fragrance.
