Somebody Special

Somebody Special (Keith Keppel, 2022) is a tall bearded iris reaching 35" (89 cm), blooming early to midseason. This elegant variety features opera pink standards with a slightly creamier edge, complemented by matching style arms and a pale lavender lip. The falls are lavender-white, edged with a ½" band of daybreak to viola hues, and display delicate pink shading on the inner hafts. The beards transition from strawberry in the throat to tiger lily in the middle, finishing pink-white at the ends. Bred from (La Scala x Bowled Over) X Poster Girl, this iris is a refined addition to any garden, offered by Amethyst Creek Farm. No rebloom or fragrance is noted in the official description.
