Solar Burst

Solar Burst (Michael Sutton, 2016) is a tall bearded iris reaching 36" (91 cm), blooming from early to late season. This variety features barium yellow standards with a subtle apricot flush at the midribs and matching style arms. The falls are a vivid ruby red, highlighted by a bold buttercup yellow zonal burst and finished with a ¼" pale yellow rim. Accented by orange beards and ruffled petals, Solar Burst offers a slight sweet fragrance. Awarded Honorable Mention in 2018, this iris is available at Amethyst Creek Farm.
