Soft Return (George Sutton, 2003) is a tall bearded iris reaching 34" (86 cm), introduced in 2003. This early midseason bloomer is notable for its reliable rebloom and pronounced sweet fragrance. The standards and style arms display a soft pale mimosa yellow (RHS 8D), while the falls are crisp white with pale mimosa yellow shoulders and a yellow base. Vibrant orange beards add a vivid accent.
