Snow Over Tahoe

Snow Over Tahoe (William Tyson, 2023) is a tall bearded iris reaching 38" (96.5 cm), blooming from midseason to late. This variety features pure white standards and white style arms accented with yellow on the sides. The falls display a pale violet-blue hue, lightening toward the beard, with occasional bands and streaks of light violet-blue and a pale violet-blue outer band. The ruffled blooms are complemented by beards with a white base and yellow-orange tips, and a slight spicy fragrance adds to its appeal. Snow Over Tahoe is bred from a distinguished lineage, including Timescape, Country Sky, Bubbling Waves, and Boundless, and was awarded an Exhibition Certificate in 2023.
