Smoking Embers

Smoking Embers (Gerald Richardson, 2012) is a remarkable Tall Bearded iris that delivers a dramatic, gallery-worthy presence in any garden. Towering at 36" (91 cm), this late midseason and reblooming variety showcases rich, rusty red standards and style arms, while the falls intensify to a deeper, velvety rust edged with a lighter rim. A luminous white sunburst at the beard, golden hafts, and vibrant yellow beards create a high-contrast, eye-catching effect. Subtle fragrance and a delicate light purple haze on the stalks add refined sophistication. With its pedigree from 'Edna's Wish' x 'Wild Jasmine', Smoking Embers is a dynamic, color-forward bloom that stands out as a true collector-grade showpiece. Attributes: Rebloomer
