Smashing Sensation

Smashing Sensation (Thomas Johnson, 2021) is a remarkable Tall Bearded Iris that brings a gallery-worthy flair to the garden. Towering at 35" (89 cm) and blooming midseason, this cultivar features refined oyster standards infused with hints of lemon, complemented by matching oyster-lemon style arms. The falls are a dramatic blend of purple and violet, boldly framed by a wide, ruffled light lavender band, while vivid orange beards provide a striking contrast. Enhanced by a sweet fragrance, Smashing Sensation is a captivating, sculptural showpiece—perfect for collectors and those seeking a memorable, color-forward centerpiece.
