Slovak Prince

Slovak Prince (Anton Mego, 2002) is a commanding tall bearded iris that brings regal presence to any garden. Reaching 33" (85 cm) and blooming midseason, this award-winning cultivar is renowned for its extraordinary color play and refined form. The standards are white, elegantly shaded with orchid lavender and subtle blue veining, each edged with a precise 1/8" gold rim. Silver lavender style arms, veined blue and tipped in gold, crown the bloom, while the falls are a dramatic, velvety blue-purple with a slightly lighter rim and a luminous white area around the gold beard, accented by purple veining that transitions to brown. Ruffled petals and a slight sweet fragrance add to its sophisticated allure.
