Skywalker

Skywalker (Schreiner, 1996) is a tall bearded iris reaching 36" (91 cm), introduced by Schreiner and recognized with both the Honorable Mention (1998) and Award of Merit (2000). This midseason bloomer features elegantly ruffled standards in azure blue (RHS 97D) streaked with creamy white, complemented by style arms washed in azure blue. The falls display a medium blue (96D) base, streaked with azure blue and edged with a creamy white band. Light blue beards are accented with yellow in the throat and at the base, adding depth to the flower’s coloration. Skywalker offers a slight fragrance and is the result of a cross between Altruist and Honky Tonk Blues. Available at Amethyst Creek Farm.
