Sky Ray

Sky Ray (Richard Tasco, 1995) is a remarkable SDB iris that commands attention with its painterly color play and refined form. Reaching 14" (36 cm) in midseason, this hybridizer’s dream features luminous light lavender blue standards and style arms, contrasted by crisp white falls intricately lined and stippled in deeper lavender blue. The beards are white, with a vivid tangerine red accent in the throat, creating a bold, color-forward focal point. With its pedigree from Nimble Toes X Hanky and introduced by Superstition in 1996, Sky Ray is a collector-grade, exhibition-ready standout—perfect for adding a gallery-worthy, conversation-starting presence to any garden. No noted rebloom or fragrance. Available at Amethyst Creek Farm. Attributes: Historic, Veining
