Skirting The Issue

Skirting The Issue (Schreiner, 2014) is a remarkable tall bearded iris that commands attention with its bold, color-forward presence. Reaching 40" (102 cm) in height and blooming midseason, this hybridizer’s dream features luminous pink standards (RHS 36D) that contrast dramatically with rich red-purple falls (61A) edged in pink. The beards are a vibrant orange in the throat and middle, finishing with a yellow tip, creating a painterly, high-contrast effect. Bred from Mastery X Dreaming of Rio, Skirting The Issue is a memorable, exhibition-grade addition to any garden, offering a dynamic, showpiece bloom that stands out in the landscape.
