Skinny Dip Pond

Skinny Dip Pond (Elizabeth Rieniets, 2018) is a remarkable Standard Dwarf Bearded iris that brings a painterly touch to the spring garden. Reaching 9" (23 cm) and blooming midseason, this cultivar features a harmonious blend of lavender and blue in the standards, with light blue style arms delicately edged in lavender. The falls showcase a luminous white base, artfully washed with violet and blue, and highlighted by blue-violet plicata markings and intricate veining at the haft and shoulder. Its beards are a dynamic gradient—yellow-orange in the throat, transitioning to white, and finishing with goldenrod-tipped ends—creating a vivid focal point. A slight sweet fragrance adds to its refined appeal. With its unique coloration and gallery-worthy patterning, Skinny Dip Pond is a captivating, collector-grade addition for beds and borders.
