Blooming in midseason, this variety is the result of a cross between 'Chivalry' and a light blue seedling from 'Sierra Blue'. Sierra Skies is celebrated for its harmonious blue tones and elegant form, earning multiple accolades including High Commendation (1953), Honorable Mention (1954), Judge's Choice (1954, 1955), and the Award of Merit (1956).
