Sicilian Orange

Sicilian Orange (Michael Sutton, 2016) is a reblooming tall bearded iris reaching 26" (66 cm), blooming from midseason to late. This award-winning variety features yellow-orange standards with peach-pink flushes at the midribs and matching yellow-orange style arms. The falls are a vivid ruby red, veined with yellow-orange and finished with a distinct ¼" yellow-orange edge. Bright orange beards and ruffled petals add to its visual appeal, while a slight musky fragrance enhances the garden experience. Sicilian Orange is a cross between Bottle Rocket and Fruit Stripe, recognized with an Honorable Mention in 2018 and an Award of Merit in 2022. Available at Amethyst Creek Farm.
