Sheer Excitement

Sheer Excitement (Richard Tasco, 2011) is a distinguished border bearded iris reaching 27" (69 cm) in height, blooming in the early midseason. This award-winning variety features violet standards (RHS 83B) with lighter veining and a subtle tan edge, complemented by cold white style arms with a faint violet blush and a touch of yellow on the fringed crest. The falls are a deeper pansy-violet (83A), sanded and veined lighter toward a slight tan edge, with vivid primrose yellow (4A) areas that transition to white beside the tangerine beards. Exhibiting a luminata pattern and a refreshing citronella fragrance, Sheer Excitement is a result of the cross Fancy Woman X Hoodlum.
