Shannon Hiatt

Shannon Hiatt (Steve Kelly, R. 2020) is a commanding tall bearded iris that brings a bold, color-forward presence to the early to midseason garden. Towering at 39" (99 cm), this remarkable cultivar features terracotta red standards and luminous gold style arms, while the falls display a dynamic blend of bronze with yellow striping and a hint of purple beneath the vivid yellow-gold beards. Its pronounced sweet fragrance adds an extra layer of sensory appeal. With a pedigree that includes ‘That’s All Folks’, ‘Coffee Song’, ‘Chocolate Ecstasy’, and ‘Golden Panther’, Shannon Hiatt is a medal-worthy, exhibition-grade iris—recognized with an Honorable Mention in 2023 and an Award of Merit in 2025. A true garden showpiece for collectors and enthusiasts alike. Attributes: Rebloomer Awards: Award of Merit, Honorable Mention
