Secret Admirer

Secret Admirer (Paul Black, 2002) is a breathtaking Tall Bearded iris that elevates any garden with its gallery-worthy presence. Reaching an impressive 39" (99 cm), this late midseason bloom showcases saturated red violet standards and style arms, while the falls reveal a painterly blend of red violet that deepens dramatically at the edges. A luminous white zone encircles the vivid orange beard, veined and washed with medium red violet for a dynamic, high-contrast effect. Lightly ruffled and delicately laced, each bloom exudes a subtle spicy fragrance. With its distinguished parentage from 'Goldkist' x 'Pastel Ribbons', Secret Admirer is a collector-grade standout—perfect for those seeking a bloom that is both visually captivating and botanically refined.
